The Keychron K17 Max is an ultra-slim, custom wireless mechanical keyboard. It supports 2.4GHz, Bluetooth, and wired connections. It lets anyone control any key or macro command on its 96% layout via the Keychron Launcher web app. It also includes LSA (low-profile spherical-angled) profile keycaps for both Windows and macOS, and users can hot-swap it in a flash with Gateron low-profile MX mechanical switches (for the RGB Backlight Hot-Swappable version only).

It offers a Mac layout while also being compatible with Windows. It stands out in the market by providing the same multimedia and function key features as Apple keyboards for Mac users, but with enhanced tactile feedback. In addition, you can use the Keychron Launcher to configure keymaps for Mac and Windows devices, which enables seamless switching without changing keycaps. The open-source QMK firmware means endless possibilities for remapping keys, macros, shortcuts, and more. Redesigned stabilisers and RGB backlighting

The stabilisers have been redesigned to stay on the same level as the switch, while still providing reliability and less wobble on large keys like the spacebar, left Shift, backspace, and Enter key. It comes with over 22 types of RGB backlight settings (as well as a static white backlight option) and 14 types of backlight settings on the white backlight version. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, and effect speed with ease. Three levels of adjustable typing angle are aimed at providing long-term ergonomic wrist support.
