Use:
Open the flap from the hook side. Place a bait such as cheese, nut or piece of bread on the hook and close the flap. From the spring-loaded side of the inlet flap, pull the long metal rod towards the inlet. Lift the short metal bar so that the long handle is inside the short one. In this position, pull the long handle to open the flap and hook it onto the baited hook. Then place the trap in the place where you have noticed the movement of rodents. As soon as the rodent enters and touches the bait, the mechanism releases the lock and the door closes automatically.
