Noctua NF-S12A PWM

The Noctua NF-S12A PWM fan uses the power of eleven state air rectifiers and seven integrated rotor blades. Thanks to these, it precisely directs the air output and is great for water cooling radiators or large processor tower coolers. It incorporates Noctua PWM control, which provides automatic speed control with very low power consumption. The fan is also equipped with second generation SSO bearings, offering an unprecedented average uninterrupted service life of over 150,000 hours (17 years!). All of this with outstanding performance, legendary quiet operation and all the great features that will be appreciated by true computer enthusiasts.

Metal bearing cover
In order to achieve the highest possible quality factory processes, Noctua uses only the best materials. The bearings are therefore hidden in a cap made entirely of brass. This guarantees among other things, a long service life and low wear.

Innovative PWM IC control with SCD
Noctua NF-S12A PWM supports fully automatic speed control. Its main advantage is Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD), which eliminates unwanted jumps and delivers quieter operation especially at lower rotation speeds. In addition, the fan comes with a Low-Noise Adapter (LNA) to reduce the maximum speed from 1200 to 900rpm. Resistance can be used both to fix the speed to 1200rpm and to reduce the maximum speed to 900rpm.

SSO2 bearings
Well proven proprietary Noctua bearings have been further refined to provide the quietest possible operation. Noctua NF-S12A uses these optimized SSO2 bearings. In the second generation, the rear magnet is located even closer to the axis and therefore offers better stability, precision and durability, which is aided by placing the bearing in a massive brass body.
