Scratch, corrosion and wear resistant blade
The basis of the Mikov Raptor knife is a precision-machined blade made of D2 tool steel, which is one of the favourite materials of professional knifemakers thanks to its excellent wear resistance and ability to hold the blade for a long time. This steel is hardened to a high hardness of 60-62 HRc, which means that the knife can cope with tough tasks without the need for frequent sharpening. With a length of 81 mm, a width of 16.5 mm and a thickness of 2.9 mm, the blade is ideally sized for precise and efficient cuts for everyday use and specific tasks in the field. The highlight of the construction is the DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating, which not only gives the blade an elegant matte look, but also significantly increases its resistance to scratches, corrosion and general wear.
