As a result, the subjects are unsure whether the king can rule, and some have even decided to secede from the crown lands. As nobles, you must therefore decide wisely what to do about the situation. Although loyalty to the king is essential, you must strive to keep the people in your favour. The Western Kingdom Vikings strategy game is suitable for 1 to 4 players aged 12 and up.

The principle of the Western Kingdom Vicomte board game
At the start of the game, the Viscounts of the Western Kingdom are members of the higher nobility who have only a few loyal townspeople. However, as soon as possible, you try to succeed and include yourself with skillful servants. During the game, you wander the kingdom and try to build influence across the social strata. At the same time you get points for copying manuscripts, working on the castle, constructing new buildings or acquiring land.
