At the heart of this router is a 500MHz dual-core MIPS64 processor with hardware packet acceleration supplemented with 512MB of RAM and 2GB of data storage. For networking, it is equipped with three gigabit Ethernet ports and another port for administration. Wide Array of Configuration Options

The built-in EdgeOS operating system is a highly stable system with many useful features. It supports IPv6 protocol, static routing, OSPFv3, RIP and BGP protocols. For security, it offers ACL and Zone firewalls, NAT, OpenVPN, IPSec and PPTL L2TP protocols. DHCP, DNS forwarding, and Quality of Service (QoS) are standard.
