The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro MAX 5G combines a classic design with rounded corners, refined details and a pleasant finish. The Black, Green and Purple colour variants use a subtle matte finish that helps reduce fingerprints and smudges. The special Cloud Blush version goes even further – thanks to photochromic technology, its back changes shade in sunlight from a soft white to a warm pinkish-orange. The phone measures 163.44 × 78.27mm, weighs 229.5g and is 8.65mm thick, or 8.57mm for the Cloud Blush variant.
The 9210mAh battery sets new standards
The REDMI Titan Battery system introduces a silicon-carbon battery with an extraordinary 9210mAh capacity, which fits into the phone's still-compact design. According to Xiaomi's internal tests, the Redmi Note 17 Pro MAX 5G can handle up to three days of normal use, up to 40 hours of video playback, 24 hours of navigation or 21 hours of gaming. In light outdoor use mode, the battery life can reach up to 14 days.
100W HyperCharge recharges at high speed
The large battery is complemented by 100W HyperCharge fast charging. According to Xiaomi's tests, just 20 minutes of charging can provide enough power for a full day's use, while 10 minutes of charging is enough for up to 7 hours of video playback. The phone also supports up to 27W reverse wired charging, so it can serve as a handy power bank for compatible devices.
A battery designed for up to 6 years of use
The Xiaomi Surge G2 management chip ensures safe and efficient battery operation. The battery has received TÜV SÜD 5-star Battery Performance certification and is designed to retain at least 80% of its original capacity even after 1600 full charge cycles. In typical use, this can correspond to more than six years of operation. The battery has also passed tests for resistance to extreme temperatures, mechanical shocks and long-term stress.
REDMI Titan Structure for high durability
The REDMI Titan Structure design helps protect the phone during everyday use and combines reinforced external and internal components. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro MAX 5G has been certified for drop resistance from a height of up to 3 metres onto a smooth granite surface under specified test conditions. The display is also protected by durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which helps resist scratches and common drops.
High protection against water and dust
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro MAX 5G meets IP66 and IP68 protection ratings. In certification tests, it survived being submerged in static fresh water to a depth of 2 metres for up to 72 hours and is also prepared for water jets under precisely defined laboratory conditions. At the same time, Wet Touch 2.0 technology helps to maintain an accurate display response even with wet fingers.
Take photos and shoot videos underwater too
The special Underwater Mode lets you take photos and videos under the water's surface. After exiting the mode, the automatic water removal function uses speaker vibrations to help remove any residual water from its space. This feature is intended for static fresh water at a maximum depth of 2 metres and for no more than 30 minutes; it is not designed for professional diving, seawater, or swimming pool water.

The large 6.83" CrystalRes AMOLED display with a fine 1.5K resolution of 2772×1280px offers a detailed image, deep blacks, and rich colour reproduction. The refresh rate reaches up to 120Hz, the standard touch sampling rate is 240Hz, and in Game Turbo mode, the instant touch response can reach up to 3200Hz. The 12-bit colour depth and wide DCI-P3 gamut then support accurate display of colour shades.
Perfect readability even in direct sunlight
The display technologies used achieve a peak brightness of up to 3500 nits, while in HBM mode the display offers up to 2000 nits. This means content remains easily readable even when using the phone outdoors in bright sunlight. The new display materials also help to reduce the display's power consumption by up to 11.4% compared to the previous solution.
The display also thinks about your eye comfort
The Redmi Note 17 Pro MAX 5G offers a range of technologies for more comfortable long-term viewing. It supports 3840Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, and a minimum brightness of 1 nit, and can automatically adjust the image to different ambient conditions. There are modes for outdoor use, low light, reading, and gaming. The display has received TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Circadian Friendly, and Flicker Free certifications.
