The Last Moments of Marie III's Life (and Misfortune)

Our aristocrat is no longer the charming young lady troubled by matters of the heart, but a woman with nearly half a century of experience and a sarcastic view of the world. She likely inherited this from the castellan, Josef, along with her intolerance for mouflons and her fondness for the family tomb. In a tribute to her late cook, Mrs Tichá, she has taken to sipping walnut liqueur. However, on one dreadfully hot day, in the only quiet and pleasantly cool place in the entire château, Marie finds an intruder instead of her desired peace. The intruder claims to be Death herself. But also something of a tradeswoman! As a result, she hardly has any time for her client. It soon becomes clear that Countess Kostka cannot even die in peace underground, albeit prematurely. Quite the opposite! It seems there is no hiding from an annoyingly ringing smartphone and the feeble-minded pronouncements of the younger generation, not even in her final hour!
