Safety cable ACI is designed for inertia brakes AL-KO 60S, 90S, 161S and 251S. It is equipped with a hook, which is threaded through a hole in the handbrake lever and then secured by bending with large pliers. While driving, the carabiner of the cable should be hooked in the eye on the hitch or in the immediate vicinity of the towing hitch. In the event of an accident, when the trailer is uncoupled from the towing vehicle, the safety cable acts as an emergency brake . It pulls the handbrake lever, which brakes it and the cable breaks or the carabiner opens. Safety cable ACI is an indispensable accessory for trailers.
