The model's strength is not its coverage width, but its directionality, simplicity, and low power consumption.

How ALCsim works
The Deramax-Omega is not based on "ordinary ultrasound" in its simplest form. This model also uses simulated ALC (Auditory Looming Cues) signals, which trigger the innate defensive reactions of pests, making the ALCsim series a technologically distinct 2nd generation of repellers. Suitable uses
The model is suitable for small and medium-sized spaces where targeted signal direction is an advantage. In practice, this mainly means a single room, a small warehouse, a workshop, a garage, a shed, an attic, or a small outdoor zone that you want to protect from a specific direction. Installing the repeller
When installing indoors, it is best to place it in a corner and aim it towards the opposite corner of the room. For several adjoining rooms, it is advisable to place it in a central room, a connecting corridor, or a larger space, but always with an emphasis on where the device is actually broadcasting. In an outdoor environment, it is best to place it in a corner or on the edge of the protected area, ideally in an elevated position and under a shelter. Operational safety
Deramax-Omega uses a frequency range of 36 to 45kHz and is completely silent. The device is designed for indoor and outdoor use and is completely safe for humans and common domestic and farm animals. The practical exception is the same as for all ultrasonic repellers: it is not advisable to keep hamsters, guinea pigs, laboratory mice or rats in a room where an ultrasonic repeller is located.
