How to keep your battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged from the factory, but its capacity and performance are not at 100%. Therefore, to optimally format the battery, we recommend repeating a full charge and discharge cycle at least 3× right from the start. Constant connection to a power source reduces the battery's capacity, so we recommend occasionally unplugging the device. If you are not using the battery, store it charged in a dry place and check and recharge it approximately every six months.
What damages batteries
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is leaving it completely discharged for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, only charge it once it has returned to room temperature. Only use the battery in devices for which it is intended. Also, be careful not to expose the battery to short circuits or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemicals, and moisture.
