The BOSCH HSS spiral drill bit with TiN coating provides maximum durability when drilling holes in metal. With appropriate cooling, the drill bit exhibits the lowest possible friction level and minimal wear due to its titanium-nitride surface. The high surface quality of the ground spiral drill bit, which is made of high-speed steel, allows for long-term use. It is suitable for use on alloy and non-alloy steel, malleable cast iron, sintered jelly, alpaca, copper, bronze and hard plastics, e.g. perspex. The HSS spiral drill bit with TiN coating is manufactured according to DIN 338. It is an N-type drill bit with a tip angle of 135 degrees and a diameter deviation of h8. Active cutting and perfect centering without sliding is guaranteed by the split tip. Do not use aluminium for drilling and always use coolant.
