The EXTOL INDUSTRIAL step drill bit is a tool for precise drilling in metal and plastic. Thanks to its conical shape and steps ranging from 4 to 22mm in diameter, you can easily create holes of various sizes without needing to change tools. The drill bit is particularly suitable for working with steel sheets, pipes and profiles up to 4mm thick. The HSS-Co material with a TiAlN coating ensures high durability and a long service life, even when drilling into alloys and stainless steel.

Material and construction for demanding use
The drill bit is made of HSS-Co high-speed steel, which offers increased hardness and heat resistance due to its cobalt content. The bit also features a TiAlN (titanium aluminium nitride) coating approximately 3μm thick, which protects the tool from wear at high operating temperatures and extends its service life. The special three-flat shank prevents slipping in the chuck and contributes to precise power transmission.
