SONOFF MINI PM Zigbee Power Meter (Non-Switch) MINI-ZB1GP

SONOFF MINI PM Zigbee Power Meter (Non-Switch) MINI-ZB1GP
The SONOFF MINI PM MINI-ZB1GP is a compact Zigbee meter designed for monitoring the consumption of electrical appliances and energy generation from systems such as solar panels. It measures voltage, current and power, providing real-time values, graphs and consumption history via an app. Bidirectional measurement allows you to monitor not only the energy drawn from the grid, but also the energy supplied by a photovoltaic system, for example. The module works with loads up to 16A, also functions as a Zigbee repeater and is designed for concealed indoor installation. This is exclusively a measuring module—it does not contain a relay and cannot switch the connected device on or off.

Energy Measurement up to 16A
The SONOFF MINI-ZB1GP allows you to add consumption measurement to a standard electrical appliance or socket without having to replace the appliance itself. It works with a voltage of 100–240V, a current of up to 16A and can measure power in the range of 0–3,840W. This allows you to monitor current consumption directly in the app and get a more detailed overview of the energy demands of individual devices. A neutral wire is required for installation.
Compact Design for Concealed Installation
The meter's body measures just 32 × 29 × 15.9mm and is designed for concealed indoor installation. It can be wired, for example, behind a compatible socket or to an electrical appliance. Its small size makes it easy to place the module in an installation box and maintain the original look of the electrical wiring. A depth of 60mm is suitable for installation in a wall box.
Zigbee Repeater to Extend Your Network
The MINI-ZB1GP communicates via Zigbee 3.0 and also functions as a Zigbee repeater. It relays the Zigbee signal between devices, helping to extend the range of your smart home's mesh network. The effective communication distance to the gateway reaches up to 180 metres in open space, and up to 250 metres after activating Turbo mode.
Overview of Consumption and Costs
Measured data can be tracked by the hour, day or month, and the history makes it easy to see which devices contribute most to your household's consumption. Cost calculations can incorporate both a fixed electricity price and time-of-use tariffs, so the app can provide a more accurate overview of costs according to different price periods. The energy data history can store up to 180 days of records, and the data can also be exported.
Bidirectional Measurement Also for Solar Systems
The meter records the flow of electrical energy in both directions. This allows it to track not only regular consumption but also energy generation, for instance, from a balcony solar system. The generated energy can be recorded as a negative value in the app, giving you an overview of the amount of energy supplied by the photovoltaic system.
Appliance Cycle Completion Alerts
The MINI-ZB1GP can use a change in power consumption to detect when a connected device has finished its cycle. You set a power value and the duration for which consumption must remain below the set threshold. Once the condition is met, you will receive a notification, so you can easily find out, for example, that the washing machine has finished its programme. An adjustable delay helps to prevent false triggers from short-term drops in consumption during operation.
Operating Time and Maintenance Tracking
Using a set power limit, the system can also track the actual operating time of a device. Once the accumulated operating time reaches the set interval, you'll receive a notification for scheduled maintenance. This feature can be used for devices that require regular inspection, cleaning or replacement of consumables.
Monitoring Electrical Values
In the app, you can set limits for overload, overcurrent, overvoltage or undervoltage. If a set value is exceeded, the system can send a notification about abnormal electrical parameters. Since the MINI-ZB1GP does not contain a switching relay, it cannot disconnect the power itself; however, through a smart scene, it can trigger another compatible device to perform the disconnection.
Integration with Open Platforms
The meter can also be integrated into open smart home solutions. The MINI-ZB1GP supports integration with platforms such as Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT. To use it with ZHA, the relevant script currently needs to be added. Displaying energy data in Samsung SmartThings also requires manual script import.
