Performance
A quality source of protein to support muscle mass growth
Performance Protein® is more than just an ordinary protein. It's a thoughtfully designed combination of ingredients that, in addition to native whey protein, also contains cow colostrum and grass-fed hydrolysed collagen. Together, they create a protein that contributes to replenishing high-quality proteins, which are important for maintaining muscle mass and normal bone condition. Its unique formula makes it the ideal choice for those seeking quality and effectiveness in a single product. Whether you're an athlete, an active individual, or simply want to support your health and vitality, Performance Protein® is the best choice.
Native protein from the milk of free-range cows
Undenatured native whey protein is cold-processed directly from the fresh milk of grass-fed, free-range cows from controlled European farms. Unlike regular proteins, the milk undergoes only one gentle pasteurisation (it's normally pasteurised 2×). The microfiltration process takes place at a very low temperature (up to 10°C), which allows the protein to retain its immunoglobulins and enzymes. This makes it more digestible, well-absorbed, and most importantly, improves the utilisation of the proteins it contains. Thanks to this gentle processing method using fresh milk, the protein retains its natural amino acid profile, including leucine, which is a key component of muscle proteins.
With hydrolysed grass-fed collagen
Hydrolysed collagen is more bioavailable because it undergoes a hydrolysis process where the individual proteins are 'broken down' into smaller collagen peptides that the cells can easily absorb. Collagen is naturally present in the skin, hair, nails, and joints, where it forms the structural basis of connective tissues. Its use is a popular choice among active people and those who care about their overall physical condition. Its highly bioavailable form makes it an ideal addition to any daily routine focused on balance and vitality.
Colostrum
Colostrum is known for its rich natural composition of proteins and other substances. It is the first milk that mammalian mothers produce in the first few days after giving birth to provide their young with strong immunity for survival. But it's not just about immunity. Cow colostrum has a 30×–40× higher concentration of immune substances than the human body. These are mainly immunoglobulins, lactoferrin, vitamins, and minerals in their most bioavailable form, and last but not least, growth factors. Colostrum is nature's first gift – an exceptional component of mammalian mother's milk, rich in bioactive substances and nutritionally valuable components.
0 limit violations
BrainMax tests its dietary supplements not only for the content of active ingredients but also for purity. Heavy metals are below legislative limits. Microbiological tests are negative. It does not distort the results – it publishes the reports in their original wording.

The difference between Performance and LAUF Protein
Both LAUF and Performance Protein contain the highest quality native whey protein. LAUF is based on 100% native protein in the form of isolate and concentrate in a 1:1 ratio. Performance Protein combines 62% native whey protein with 26% hydrolysed collagen from free-range animals and is also enriched with cow colostrum and coconut milk. While LAUF is primarily focused on pure and effective protein replenishment after exercise, Performance Protein offers broader functional use – it is suitable not only after training but also as part of a daily routine with an emphasis on a diverse composition.
With coconut milk for a delicate taste
Performance Protein with added coconut milk is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a high-quality and delicious source of protein. Coconut milk, traditionally used in tropical regions as part of daily nutrition, naturally contains plant-based fats, including lauric acid. This gives the mixture a smooth, creamy texture and contributes to its overall flavour fullness. The result is a protein that combines functionality with an enjoyable experience. Performance Protein with coconut milk – for those who want more than just protein.
The difference between native whey protein and regular 'cheese' whey protein
Native whey protein is cold-processed directly from the fresh milk of grass-fed, pasture-raised cows. In contrast, 'cheese' whey protein is made from cheese, or more precisely, from whey, a by-product of cheese production. Regular whey protein is therefore a more technologically processed food compared to native protein, and its production involves greater heat exposure, which can affect the structure of amino acids and naturally occurring components like lactoferrin or immunoglobulins. In contrast, native protein is pasteurised only once at the beginning of milk processing, and then the protein is extracted directly from the milk using gentle, low-temperature filtration, without significantly disrupting its natural composition. The result is a protein with high purity and a natural amino acid profile. Native protein retains the bioactive components found in milk, including lactoferrin and immunoglobulins. Native protein is the caviar of proteins.
Gentle production of native whey protein
One of the reasons native whey performs so well in terms of protein content and absorbability is the manufacturing process. Native whey protein is pasteurised only once, whereas whey protein is pasteurised twice. This can lead to the denaturation (degradation) of proteins. Furthermore, the production of native whey protein involves a cold microfiltration process (at temperatures up to 10°C). Simply put, the production of native whey protein is so gentle that the protein retains a high amount of protein and a greater number of amino acids.
26.25g of protein and 4.89g of BCAAs in every serving!
Native whey naturally stands out for its high content of essential amino acids, which include leucine and cystine – two key substances associated with protein creation and internal regeneration. Leucine plays a crucial role in the process of protein synthesis, where the body builds muscle tissue from available amino acids. Cystine, in turn, is important as a precursor to glutathione, one of the most important antioxidants that the body produces itself. It is precisely these amino acids that are an integral part of high-quality proteins, which contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass. Because they are also very sensitive to heat and are easily degraded during conventional processing, gently processed native whey is exceptional – it retains its natural nutritional strength and is a valuable source of protein suitable not only after training but at any time of the day.
Excellent taste with no added sugar and no synthetic sweeteners
The protein's pleasant sweet taste is lent by stevia leaves – an herb that is up to 300× sweeter than sugar and contains no calories. For a creamier consistency, we used guar seeds, which naturally contain fibre.
