The BRAUN BNT 300 non-contact thermometer is used to measure the body temperature on the forehead of children and adults in the measuring range from 34 to 43 °C with a deviation of ± 0.1 °C. The dual technology allows not only non-contact but also touch measurement. The measurement itself takes just two seconds and the result is displayed on a clear colour display. The guide light system helps to identify the correct measuring point on the forehead, contributing to the accuracy of the results. The silent mode is particularly useful for measuring the temperature of babies during sleep. Power is provided by 2× AAA batteries with a lifetime of up to two years or approximately 500 measurements.

The BRAUN BNT 300 colour-coded non-contact thermometer distinguishes three types of readings:

The BRAUN BNT 300 thermometer offers two ways to measure body temperature. The non-contact measurement is particularly useful for checking the baby's temperature during sleep - putting it to the forehead is quick and the quiet mode minimises the risk of waking. The touch measurement method is particularly useful in situations where the child is restless or active and non-contact measurement could affect the accuracy of the result.
