Thanks to the advanced interface, the Speedlite EL-5 can be fully controlled directly from the camera body, and the information transmission is stable, accurate and fast. This brings not only greater comfort, but also greater efficiency at work. In addition, it is compatible with multiple cameras.
Save your preferred settings
For creative work, the Speedlite EL-5 offers a range of features. Using the FE (Flash Exposure) memory, you can save your preferred flash setting and in manual mode, fine-tune the flash intensity down to 1/1024 power. There are also user-defined flash modes that can be matched to the compatible camera's own settings.
Wirelessly control up to 15 Canon flashes at once
Thanks to the built-in radio transmitter, you can wirelessly control 15 Speedlite flashes from up to 30 metres away. This makes it an excellent tool for studio and creative lighting in the field. In addition, the White Dual LED Light allows fine intensity adjustment for light modelling when shooting portraits or close-ups.
Smart app helps you control your Canon Speedlite remotely
The Speedlite EL-5 external flash is easy and intuitive to control using the joystick directly on the flash, via the camera's LCD screen or remotely via the Canon Camera Connect mobile app. The flash head can be tilted up to 120° upwards and sideways for efficient use of reflected light when shooting indoors.
