At the heart of the CAT DX1130B cordless drill is a modern brushless motor that offers up to 25% more power, 50% higher efficiency, and up to 10× longer service life compared to classic carbon motors. The maximum torque reaches 80Nm and two gear speeds are available:
- Low speed (0–550 rpm) – for high torque and better control
- High speed (0–2,200 rpm) – for fast drilling of smaller holes
