The Corsair 2500X computer case in black with an obsidian aluminium finish is a solution for Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX builds. Its dual-chamber design separates the main components from the power supply and cabling, which contributes to a clean look and efficient airflow. The tempered glass side panels offer an unobstructed view of the internal layout of the build and underline the modern look of the aluminium design. The case is supplied without fans, giving you complete freedom to choose your own cooling.
The case's foundation is a solid steel frame, complemented by a left side panel made of tempered glass and a right side with perforated mesh. The dual-chamber layout effectively separates the display section with the motherboard and graphics card from the second chamber. This chamber conceals the power supply and storage drives, which simplifies assembly and contributes to a tidy internal space.
The internal space supports Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, including those with rear-facing connectors like ASUS BTF or MSI PROJECT ZERO. The case accommodates graphics cards up to 400mm long and CPU coolers up to 180mm high. For an ATX power supply, it offers 225mm of space. The Corsair 2500X computer case provides extensive options for building your own cooling circuit. You can install up to nine 120mm or six 140mm fans. The case supports the installation of water-cooling radiators up to 360mm in both the top and bottom positions. The side can accommodate a 240mm radiator, and a 120mm heat exchanger can be fitted at the rear.
For data storage, the case offers two bays for 3.5" hard drives and another four for 2.5" SSD drives. All are located in the second chamber so as not to disrupt the appearance of the main section. The case has four horizontal expansion slots for add-on cards. With a separately sold kit, it also supports vertical mounting of the graphics card. The second chamber is not only for the power supply and drives but primarily for cable routing. This keeps the main chamber free of unnecessary obstructions, which improves airflow and the overall look of the build.
The connector panel is located on the top of the case for easy access. It includes a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and a combined 3.5mm audio jack for a headset with a microphone. In addition to the connectors, you will also find buttons for turning on and restarting the computer. This ensures all necessary ports are always at your fingertips.
