The CyberPower VP1000ELCD UPS provides a battery backup to protect computers, network components, and other sensitive electronics in homes and small offices. This line-interactive UPS, with a real power of 550W and an apparent power of 1000VA, protects connected devices not only from complete power outages but also from surges, voltage spikes, and other disturbances in the electrical grid. GreenPower UPS technology actively reduces energy consumption and helps save on running costs. A multifunction LCD provides an overview of the unit's status and power conditions. Its tower design, measuring 227×100×260mm and weighing 6.23kg, makes it easy to place the UPS in an office or home.
The UPS operates on a line-interactive principle with automatic voltage regulation. This function compensates for common mains fluctuations and maintains the output voltage without switching to the battery. In the event of a complete power failure, the battery supplies power for 1 minute at a full load of 550W or 9 minutes at half load. The voltage waveform when running on battery is a simulated sine wave. The multifunction LCD displays key real-time information, such as power status, battery charge level, and current load. For advanced management and configuration, you can use the PowerPanel Personal software, which connects via USB or the RS-232 serial port. The UPS also supports generator power. Users can replace the batteries inside the unit, which simplifies maintenance and extends the life of the device.
To protect sensitive electronics, the UPS includes surge protection with 450J of energy absorption and an electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference (EMI/RFI) filter. This comprehensive protection shields connected devices from damage caused by an unstable electrical grid. The UPS is equipped with four Schuko sockets, providing both battery backup and surge protection for connected devices. It includes RJ-45 and RJ-11 ports to protect data and telephone lines, with the network port supporting data transfer speeds of up to 1Gbps. A USB communication interface and an RS-232 serial port are available for management and monitoring.
