State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition

The real zombie apocalypse is approaching. The plot takes place in the countryside and smaller towns, where its inhabitants try to survive against the hordes of undead, some of whom were their neighbours. From experienced developers from the Undead Labs team, working together with several authors of the successful Guild Wars online game, have put their heads together in an effort to develop the best possible zombie game. In addition to weapons and vehicles, players have the ability to control a few characters, and it is all up to them to survive in the inhospitable, devastated landscape full of the undead.

You Against Hundreds of Undead

Because of the fast-paced infection, you can never be sure what lurks around the next corner. Is it worthwhile to go to a seemingly abandoned house that has an unpleasant growling noise? Do you still have supplies, or do you prefer to run for your sanctuary, arm yourself and add health or fluid? State of Decay is a game full of decisions that will affect how the story develops further. You control all your characters in an easy-to-use interface, and you always know who is wounded, moody and who is ready for immediate action.

Lots of Vehicles

Though fuel stocks are getting low, there are still plenty of vehicles left to help you achieve your goal. In the open world everything is possible, so in addition to trucks you can also find sports cars or family sedans and a coupe. Beware, however, as ubiquitous zombies will try to destroy your vehicle as soon as possible and try to get to your flesh.
