The integrated GARNI 6INT wireless sensor is a key accessory for the GARNI 750, GARNI 1025 Arcus, GARNI 925T and GARNI GTWay Plus Wi-Fi Weather Gateway to provide accurate and reliable data on outdoor conditions. It can measure outside temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, wind speed and direction, UV radiation and sunshine intensity. The durable design ensures long life even in harsh conditions, while data transmission is indicated by an LED. Power is provided by batteries. For optimum performance, the manufacturer recommends the use of lithium batteries. The sensor is a sleek light grey colour, while the windscreen is finished in black. Installation is easy and stable. The recommended post diameter for mounting is between 30 and 42 mm.

Temperature and humidity measurement
The external sensor for the GARNI 6INT weather station provides accurate temperature and relative humidity measurements thanks to the high-quality SENSIRION sensor. Temperature measurement range from -40 to +80 °C, and the operating temperature is limited to -40 to +60 °C. The accuracy of the measurement varies according to the temperature range, For example, at values from -40 to -20 °C, the tolerance is ±1.5 °C, while in the normal range of +5.1 to +60 °C it achieves a high accuracy of ±0.4 °C. The temperature is displayed with a fine resolution of 0.1 °C. The sensor also measures relative humidity in the range of 1 to 99%, with an accuracy dependent on the actual values, for example with humidity between 21 and 80% there is a tolerance of ±3.5%. Humidity data is displayed with a resolution of 1%.
Wind, precipitation, UV index and solar radiation intensity
The external sensor for the GARNI 6INT weather station also measures wind speed and direction, rainfall, UV index and solar radiation intensity. Wind speed is measured in the range 0 to 50 m/s (or equivalently up to 180 km/h, 112 mph or 97 knots) with an accuracy of ±0.5 m/s at low speeds up to 5 m/s and ±6% at higher values. The measured values are displayed with a fine resolution of 0.1 m/s. Wind direction is determined in 16 positions. The sensor also measures rainfall totals from 0 to 19,999 mm with an accuracy of 0.1 mm, with the balance tipping at 0.4 mm of rainfall. To monitor solar radiation, the sensor offers UV index measurements from 1 to 16 and illuminance from 0 to 200 Klux with a resolution of 0.01 Klux.
Weather station sensor with a range of up to 150 metres
The GARNI wireless sensor for weather stations is characterized by reliable data transmission and a wide signal range of up to 150 meters in open areas. It uses the 868 MHz frequency for transmission, which minimizes interference and ensures accurate and fast transmission of measured values. The transmission interval varies according to the type of data being measured, with wind speed and direction, UV index and solar radiation intensity updated every 12 seconds, and temperature, relative humidity and precipitation every 24 seconds. Power is provided by three AA (1.5 V) pencil batteries,which are not included in the package, and the manufacturer recommends using lithium batteries for longer battery life. The sensor design is robust and durable, with dimensions of 343.5 × 393.5 × 136 mm and a weight of 688 g (without batteries). The sensor can be fixed to the mast for easy installation.
