The Gimeg gas hose connects gas appliances, such as cookers or heaters, to a propane-butane cylinder. With a length of three metres, it's perfect for camping. The hose is made of PVC, which can withstand an operating pressure of up to 20 bar and temperatures from -30°C to +80°C. The package also includes two clamps with wing nuts, so you can assemble it without any tools.

Assembly

Connecting your gas appliances is quick. The set includes two worm-drive hose clamps with a diameter of 11–16mm, which are fitted with wing nuts. This means you can carry out the complete assembly without any tools – simply tighten the clamps by hand. The three-metre hose length offers flexibility in placing your cooker or heater relative to the gas cylinder, which is ideal for camping.

Designed for various conditions

The hose is made of PVC. This material is resistant to chemicals and an operating pressure of up to 20 bar. You can safely use it in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +80°C, making it suitable for outdoor use. To extend its lifespan, the manufacturer recommends protecting the hose from direct UV radiation and installing it in a way that avoids sharp bends.

Regular hose inspection

Regularly checking the condition of the hose is important for safe use. The manufacturer recommends carrying out a visual inspection every year – bend the hose and check its surface for any cracks. The manufacturing date is marked directly on the hose, which helps you keep track of its age. After every connection, it's also necessary to perform a leak check on the joints. You can do this by applying a small amount of soapy water to the joints. The formation of bubbles indicates a gas leak and the need for re-tightening.
