Active ingredients
- Cranberry extract (Vaccinium myrtillus) - The complex is supplemented with the extract of the cranberry (Vaccinium myrtillus), which is the richest source of bioactive anthocyanins. These give blueberries their purple colour and also their antioxidant properties. To these anthocyanins owe the fact that they are currently the subject of a number of scientific investigations aimed at improving visual acuity.
- Tagetes erecta - Another extract contained is from the plant Tagetes erecta, which is considered one of the best natural sources of lutein and zeaxanthin. These are known carotenoids, which are among the antioxidants. Moreover, both of these substances are present in high concentrations in the retina of the human eye, where they act as the primary filter of blue light. Our eyes are exposed to a lot of this, for example when working on a computer. Excessive strain on the eyes can cause drying of the eye surface, irritation or headaches. For this reason, it is important to support the natural protective function of the eye as much as possible.
- Phosphatidylserine - This substance is commonly found in the human body and also in foods such as fish, meat or soy. It is mainly found in the brain, where it plays a key role in maintaining cognitive function. These include processing information from the environment, memory and thinking.
