The Hit-Air MLV 2 Vest Easily Adjusts to Any Body Shape
The protective elements of the Hit-Air MLV 2 vest may seem cumbersome, but in practice they do not restrict movement at all. Adjustable internal straps allow you to customise the size to your body shape. The vest is made of 600D polyester, nylon straps and polyester mesh, supplemented with reflective elements made of Lumidex. Polyurethane was used for the airbag, and the part behind the activation mechanism is supplemented with visco-elastane.
Easy Installation and Use of the MLV 2 Airbag Vest
The motorcycle airbag vest works on a mechanical principle. It connects to the motorcycle frame under the seat or another suitable location using a carbon-Kevlar cable. Activation is similar to seat belts—it only engages during an actual fall. The deployment is calibrated to a force corresponding to a fall (usually from 30km/h upwards). After activation, the vest deflates on its own within two minutes. It can then be prepared for use again: deflate the excess air, activate the mechanism with an Allen key and insert a new CO₂ cartridge.
