The board game A birodalom alkonya transports players to a fantasy world facing relentless threats. Your main goal is to protect your territory from devastating disasters and enemy raids. Divert these threats and redirect them to your neighbours' lands using an unusual reverse auction mechanic that determines who avoids catastrophe. Throughout the game, you develop your characters and collect points for successful defence. This board game is designed for 2–4 players aged 13 and over, with a single game lasting 45–60 minutes.

Game objective and the role of the ruler
Take on the role of a wise leader guiding your empire through a period of deep decline, striving to keep your territory safe from barbarian hordes. Your main task is to ward off disasters and shift danger to neighbouring states, which requires cold calculation. You earn points for successfully surviving disasters and strategically developing your assigned territory.
Reverse auction mechanism
Constant negotiation and bidding over who avoids the greatest threats drive the gameplay. The game uses a reverse auction principle where you pay to ensure a disaster hits someone else. During your turn, use collected resources to bid and try to save as many resources as possible. Character development gradually opens up new defensive options and makes the fight for survival easier.
Components in a tin box
The game components combine various durable materials. In the box, you will find pieces made of wood, cardboard and plastic that complete the atmosphere of the fantasy world. the board and cards contain text exclusively in Hungarian.
