Magic Baby Benji the Dog – Cuddly Weighted Therapeutic Sensory Plush Toy 45cm

The Magicbaby Weighted Plush Benji the Dog is a therapeutic aid designed to provide a calming effect and a sense of security. With a weight of 400g, it delivers deep pressure that helps reduce anxiety and stress in both children and adults. Its special hugging design with long front paws practically invites you to embrace it. The toy's surface is made of a hypoallergenic polypropylene fabric, which is gentle and safe even for the sensitive skin of newborns. The filling combines soft cotton with glass beads, ensuring an even weight distribution.

Supports sensory perception

Benji the Dog is not just an ordinary toy, but also a sensory aid. Its weight naturally stimulates sensory perception, specifically touch and proprioception—the ability to perceive the position and movement of one's own body. The gentle yet steady pressure the plush toy exerts brings a sense of calm and grounding. This can help children to concentrate better, calm down before bed, or manage stressful situations. The toy therefore supports not only emotional regulation but also the development of body schema awareness.

Materials and design details

Safety and functionality are top priorities with this plush toy. The outer part is made from a certified polypropylene fabric that is hypoallergenic and suitable for direct contact with the skin of the youngest children. Inside, there is a combination of cotton and glass beads, which are securely enclosed and ensure an even distribution of weight along the entire length of the body. The total length of the toy is 45cm, and its specially designed front paws have a width of 56cm when outstretched, allowing them to give a child a firm hug.

Easy care and practical packaging

Keeping the plush toy clean is very simple. If it gets dirty, just wipe it with a damp cloth. For a more thorough clean, you can moisten the cloth with mild soapy water, clean the toy, and then wipe it dry or let it air dry. It is not recommended to wash the plush toy in a washing machine, as this could damage the inner filling. You will receive the product in a fabric bag, which is suitable for storage or for taking it with you when you travel.
