Therapeutic effects and sensory stimulation

Benji the Dog is designed to stimulate sensory perception and support proprioception – the sense of one's own body. The plush toy's weight creates deep pressure, which has a calming effect and helps regulate the nervous system. It is a useful aid for people with sensory processing differences, helping them to concentrate and manage stressful situations. Its long front paws, with a 79cm span, are perfect for hugging and create a feeling of security.

Materials and design

The toy's surface is made from 100% polypropylene fibre, which is hypoallergenic and soft to the touch. Inside, there is a filling of cotton and glass beads that is evenly distributed throughout the body to ensure consistent weight. The plush toy contains no electronic components and requires no batteries. It is easy to maintain; simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth if it gets dirty. The product comes in a fabric bag, making it easy to carry and store.
