The JBL EasySing Wireless Mics are handheld dynamic microphones with a directional (cardioid) polar pattern. Sound is captured via a 16mm ECM microphone head with a frequency range of 50 to 15,000Hz. Wireless transmission operates in theWi-Fi band on a carrier frequency of 2,404 to 2,478MHz. Connection to speakers is via the supplied AI Dongle with a USB-C connector. The set includes two black wireless microphones for singing together.

The microphone uses a dynamic pickup principle with a cardioid directional characteristic. This captures sound primarily from the front and suppresses unwanted signals from other directions. The frequency response covers the range from 50 to 15,000Hz. Inside, there is a 16mm ECM microphone head that converts acoustic vibrations into an electrical signal. This system preserves the natural character of the voice for both low and high tones.

The body's construction reduces the transmission of mechanical shocks and vibrations during handling. The integrated pop filter effectively dampensunwanted plosives caused by airflow when breathing. The shock mount suspension system prevents noise from being generated when passing the microphone from hand to hand. The resulting signal thus remains clean and free of distracting elements.

AI Vocal Removal technology is used to suppress the original vocals in real time. Users can regulate the suppression level in steps of 25%, 50%, or 100%. This feature transforms standard songs into instrumental accompaniments without the need for additional software. The settings can be adjusted directly on the microphone body or in the mobile app.

The integrated EasySing algorithm helps singers with challenging passages. The built-in system adds pitch support, natural reverb, an echo effect, and real-time feedback suppression. A Voice Boost mode and preset vocal effects are also available to help hit high notes. This will make even squeaky tones sound legendary, whether you are singing alone or with a group.

Wireless connectivity uses digital transmission in the Wi-Fi band with a carrier frequency of 2,404 to 2,478MHz and a transmitter power of less than 10dBm. Adaptive channel selection searches for free frequencies and prevents signal interference from other nearby wireless devices. AES-128 encryption reliably protects the transmitted data from unwanted eavesdropping. The reliable range of the wireless transmitter is up to 30m from the connected dongle.

The built-in 3.7V Li-Ion polymer battery powers each microphone and provides long-lasting battery life for an entire evening of fun. The 240mAh battery keeps the device in continuous operation for up to 10 hours on a single charge. The approximate charging time in off mode is less than 3.5 hours. Charging is done via the integrated USB-C interface directly on the device's body.

The receiver, in the form of an AI Dongle, plugs directly into the USB-C port of a compatible speaker. Wireless connection occurs without the needfor app installations, lengthy pairing, or complex setup. The package also includes a USB-to-USB-C adapter for broader connectivity options. The dongle itself weighs only 12g and has compact dimensions of 45.4 × 42 × 15.6mm, so it won't get in the way.

There are physical buttons on the microphone's body for volume control and function activation. A status light indicator clearly showsthe operating mode and battery level. Further options for equaliser settings and presets are offered by the JBL One mobile app. The controls are designed for quick parameter changes while singing.

Each black microphone weighs 195g and measures 224.5 × 45.5 × 42.7mm. The manufacturer has used post-consumer recycled plastic with sustainability and the environment in mind. The eco-friendly packaging materials include paper printed with soy-based ink. The robust construction reliably protects the internal electronic components from damage.
The microphone set is designed to work with selected models of JBL speakers. The PartyBox Encore 2, PartyBox Encore Essential 2, and PartyBox On-The-Go 2 systems are directly supported. The device can also be easily connected to the PartyBox Club 120, Stage 320, 520, and 720. No external mixers or complicated wiring are required for connection.
Microphone PrincipleA dynamic microphone is suitable for open-air performances, live broadcasts, music production, etc. It uses a magnet and a moving coil to capture sound.
A condenser microphone is particularly useful for studio purposes. It has higher sensitivity and lower noise. It requires a separate power supply.
Frequency RangeThe frequency range indicates the range of frequency values that the microphone records. The wider its range, the more sounds it can capture.
Low frequencies (e.g. 20–200Hz): Bass, the deepest tones of instruments (double bass, kick drum) and male voices.
Mid-range frequencies (e.g. 200–3,000Hz): The body of instruments, the core of the voice where the ear is most sensitive, important for speech intelligibility.
High frequencies (e.g. 3,000–14,000Hz): Treble, details, sibilance, and the "sheen" of the sound.
Air band (above 14,000Hz): Gives recordings the feel of an expensive, super-high-quality sound and space.
SensitivityMicrophone sensitivity is the ratio of output voltage to acoustic pressure. It expresses how loud a signal the microphone produces at a given acoustic pressure; higher sensitivity means a stronger voltage and is suitable for quiet studios, while lower sensitivity is better for noisy environments as it is less likely to unnecessarily amplify ambient noise.
