Computing power and RAM
At the heart of the computer is the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K processor, which contains a total of 20 cores and 20 threads. This configuration consists of 8 performance cores at 2.4GHz and 12 efficiency cores at 1.8GHz. Core Boost technology increases the processor frequency to up to 5.3GHz when needed. The basic configuration includes 8GB of RAM of the DDR5-SDRAM type, which runs at a frequency of 5600MHz. The motherboard with the Intel Q870 chipset has a total of 4 DIMM slots for future upgrades. The total memory capacity can be expanded up to 128GB. The memory modules operate in Non-ECC mode with a data transfer rate of 5600 MT/s.
Artificial intelligence and NPU
The integrated Intel AI Boost neural processing unit accelerates artificial intelligence calculations directly on the local device. The NPU alone provides up to 13 TOPs of performance, while the total performance of the entire processor in AI tasks is up to 33 TOPs. Hardware acceleration efficiently processes algorithms in programs that support DirectML, OpenVINO or Windows ML interfaces. The build supports advanced Windows Studio effects for video calls. A fast boot-up of the operating system and applications is handled by the installed 512GB SSD storage. The drive uses a modern M.2 NVMe interface, which shortens the system response time. The motherboard includes one installed M.2 slot and two SATA III connectors for connecting additional drives.
Integrated graphics
The integrated Intel Graphics chip takes care of displaying visual content. This graphics subsystem provides sufficient performance for common office applications, high-resolution video playback and working in multiple windows at the same time. The integrated core provides sufficient performance for smooth user interface rendering. The graphics part of the processor itself contributes up to 8 TOPs to the overall AI performance.
Extensive connectivity
On the front panel, the computer offers a fast USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port with a transfer speed of up to 20Gb/s. This is complemented by one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port and two USB 2.0 ports, one of which supports PowerShare. The rear panel has additional USB interfaces, including one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. For connecting older peripherals, it provides two rear USB 2.0 ports with SmartPower On function. A reliable connection to the corporate network and the internet is provided by the integrated network card with an Intel I219-LM controller. The RJ-45 Ethernet port supports transfer speeds of 10, 100, and 1000Mb/s. The wired connection maintains stable data transmission without speed fluctuations. The build does not include a wireless Wi-Fi module, which increases security in strictly managed corporate networks.
Multiple monitors with the Dell Pro Tower
The computer provides a wide range of options for connecting display devices for efficient work on multiple screens. It offers three native DisplayPort 1.4a connectors. Users can easily connect multiple monitors to create a clear working environment. The graphics outputs ensure high resolution and transmission of a sharp image without distracting elements. The chassis also includes a DVD±RW optical drive for reading and writing optical media and a power button with a diagnostic LED indicator.
Sound system in the Dell Pro Tower computer
Sound is processed by an integrated Realtek ALC3204 sound chip with High Definition Audio support.
