The Kodak AZ255 won't let you down in any shooting situation thanks to its 25x zoom lens with optical stabilization. With a range from wide-angle to telephoto, you can document sporting events, photograph the nature around you up close and far away on safaris, and take portraits and group shots at family events. The big advantage is that, compared to an SLR, you don't have to carry lenses weighing several kilograms to cover the same focal range or think about which lens to pack in your bag and which to leave at home. Optical zoom is complemented by 4x digital magnification, so that at the long end, the combined zoom range reaches a focal length of 24mm.
You can see everything in detail on the 3" display, the Czech menu makes it easy to work
Composing shots, viewing images and selecting the best ones is a breeze on the large, bright and easy-to-read 3" high-resolution 460k-dot LCD display. The fully Czech menu of the camera will also make your work easier, so you can easily find your way around.
No scene is too wide for a 24mm lens
With a 24mm focal length lens, you won't be limited by the width of the frame when composing your shot. No family reunion or celebration with friends is too big to leave someone out of the picture. And if you're shooting on the go, you'll no doubt appreciate the panorama mode.
16MPx sensor ensures perfectly rendered images
The Kodak Astro Zoom AZ255 is equipped with a 1/2.3″ BSI CMOS sensor, approximately 6.17 × 4.55 mm. CMOS sensor provides better low-light sensitivity and clearer images thanks to Back-Side Illuminated. Optical image stabilisation takes care of sharpness at all times. Let your creativity flow and explore the possibilities of different preset modes and filters. You don't even have to worry about cropping and zooming, you won't lose image quality at high resolution.
Control all modes
On the Kodak AZ255, you can easily switch between shooting modes using the rotary switch conveniently available on the top panel. With 22 available modes (including aperture, fireworks, panorama and many more), the camera settings automatically adjust to the light, motion and overall quality of the scene you want to capture. The modes take care of the technical details so you can focus and think like an artist. Select the mode according to the scene and the device takes care of the rest. The parameters of the selected mode can be easily adjusted without going into the camera settings.
Capture the most beautiful moments in high-definition video
