The Simplehuman Dual Sensor is a touch-free recycling bin that enables voice control. Its internal space with a total volume of 58 litres is divided into two sections: a 34-litre compartment for general waste and a removable 24-litre plastic container with a metal handle for recyclables like paper, plastics, or glass. The bin can be opened using voice control or by waving your hand over the smart motion sensor. The surface of the bin is treated with an invisible nano-silver particle coating, which limits the spread of microorganisms and is fingerprint-proof. This finish ensures easy cleaning and maintenance. The Simplehuman Dual Sensor bin can be powered by the included mains adapter or by six AA batteries. A mains adapter, a pack of spare bags, and a user manual are included in the package.

The Simplehuman Bin Offers Both Voice and Motion Control
The Simplehuman Dual Sensor bin responds to three voice commands, which are picked up by three microphones positioned to work even in noisier environments. The lid opens with the command "open can", the command "stay open" keeps the bin open until you say "close can". If the bin does not receive a command to close, it automatically closes after ten minutes. In addition to voice control, the bin can be opened by waving your hand over the infrared sensor. The sensor scans the area above and in front of the bin to prevent it from accidentally opening when you are just walking past.
Integrated Liner Pocket
The smooth opening and closing of the Simplehuman Dual Sensor bin is ensured by a very quiet motor, so the lid's movement is completely non-disruptive. The bin is equipped with an integrated liner pocket where you can insert a whole pack of spare Simplehuman bin bags. The bags can then be easily dispensed from inside the bin. Thanks to the securing frame, the bags are held precisely in place.
