The Suavinex Butterfly physiological soother is designed for babies from 6 to 18 months. It is made from a single piece of soft silicone, which is tasteless and odourless. The ergonomic shield with vents ensures air circulation around the skin and naturally adapts to the baby's face. A special dirt-repellent finish minimises the collection of fluff. The shape of the teat respects the natural development of the gums, teeth and palate.
The physiological shape of the teat has been designed to respect the natural development of a baby's oral cavity. Its thinner, wider neck allows the mouth to remain almost completely closed, promoting correct jaw position. The teat also leaves more room for the tongue in the oral cavity, making sucking as natural as possible. The entire concept was created in collaboration with the Spanish Society of Paediatric Dentistry to support the healthy development of the gums, teeth and palate.
The soother is made from a single piece of soft silicone that is BPA-free, tasteless and odourless. This material is clinically tested and used by a pharmaceutical manufacturer. A special surface treatment against photo-oxidation minimises the build-up of fluff and dirt, making it easier to maintain hygiene. In addition, the air vents in the ergonomic shield ensure constant air circulation and prevent irritation of the baby's sensitive skin.
Sucking a soother naturally releases endorphins, which give the baby a sense of calm and security. The soother thus serves as an aid when falling asleep or on walks. It is a better alternative to thumb-sucking, which can negatively affect dental development. For easy handling, the soother is equipped with a practical ring that can be used to safely remove it from the mouth or to attach a chain with a clip to prevent it from getting lost.
