The body of the pot is made of steel plate coated with enamel. This enamel surface is acid-resistant and free from Teflon and heavy metals. You can use the casserole dish on all types of hobs, including induction, and it's dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning.

Traditional enamel surface

The base of the casserole dish is made from special steel plates 0.5–2.5mm thick. A glass coating is applied to them, which is baked in several layers at a high temperature. The resulting enamel surface is smooth, non-porous and has a high-gloss finish. Thanks to being baked at 820°C, the surface is resistant to wear and tear and maintains a permanent colour. The material does not react with food and does not release any harmful substances.

Universal use and easy maintenance

You can safely use the Metalac casserole dish on any type of hob, from gas to induction. Its thick base ensures efficient and even heat distribution, which helps save energy during cooking. Maintenance is simple because the smooth enamel surface is easy to clean and does not absorb odours or flavours from prepared meals. You can also safely use metal utensils, as the surface is scratch-resistant. After cooking, simply place the casserole dish in the dishwasher.
