Durable and easy-to-maintain enamel surface
Enamel is essentially molten glass applied to a steel base. It creates a completely smooth and non-porous surface that prevents dirt from settling and simplifies cleaning. This makes the pot dishwasher safe. The enamelled surface is also resistant to food acids, so you can safely prepare and store food in it. What's more, the material retains its original colour and high gloss over the long term.
