Easy installation and advanced EZ DIY features
Installation and maintenance are simplified with EZ DIY solutions. The EZ PCIe Clip II mechanism enables easy removal of the graphics card with a single finger using a spring-loaded mechanism, which is especially useful in tight cases. Colour-coded connectors for pumps, fans, and ARGB components make it easy to navigate the cabling. The pre-installed I/O shield eliminates the need for manual fitting and ensures correct alignment. The EZ Antenna connects without any twisting, simply by pushing it on. Quick diagnostics are facilitated by the EZ Debug LED and EZ Memory Detection LED, which instantly identify the source of any problems.
Powerful power system and overclocking support
The 12+1+1+1 DRPS power system, with twelve Vcore phases and separate phases for SA, GT, and VNNAON, ensures a stable power supply even for more demanding processors. The board uses a six-layer, server-grade PCB material, optimised for higher bandwidth and faster data transfer. Solid pins on the 8-pin and 24-pin connectors ensure a stable power transfer under heavy loads. Overvoltage protection is provided by Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS), and overcurrent protection shields the USB ports, DDR memory slots, PWM circuits, and the processor. Overclocking is simplified with the MSI Click BIOS X function, which supports XMP profiles for automatic overclocking of compatible DDR memory. Memory Extension Mode provides optimised parameters for lower latency and higher performance at the same frequency.
