ActiveSense technology

The revolutionary, innovative ActiveSense technology uses a built-in camera and artificial intelligence to recognise fabrics, guaranteeing that you won't burn any ironable fabric. You can iron everything from denim to silk and linen, and even cashmere. All safely, in any order, and without waiting for the temperature to adjust or pre-sorting clothes by material.

Automatic settings adjustment

Make ironing as easy as possible with automatic setting adjustments. Powerful ironing with automatically adjusted temperature and steam amount for excellent results in every situation. The iron is ready to use in two minutes.

Exceptionally powerful steaming

Powerful and continuous steaming easily handles even the thickest fabrics. With an extra steam boost of up to 750g at just the right moment, even the most stubborn creases will give way in an instant. A continuous steam output of up to 180g/min ensures great results when vertically steaming clothes and curtains.

Intelligent automatic steam

The intelligent DynamiQ sensor precisely detects how and when the iron is moving. It automatically provides powerful steam, with sound dampened by SilentSteam technology, where it's needed most. It makes ironing easier and delivers faster, energy-saving results.

Ultralight iron

The Philips PerfectCare 9000 Series steam system has an ideal weight of 0.97kg, making it very easy and comfortable to handle. It glides well over garments, removes the most stubborn creases, and reduces strain on your wrist. Its minimal weight also makes vertical steaming easy and effective.

Guaranteed no burns on fabric

Guaranteed no burns thanks to the soleplate's rapid-cooling system. You can steam and iron all types of ironable fabrics without the risk of burning them. You can quickly and effectively smooth out creases and folds on everything from jeans and other sturdy fabrics to delicate clothes like silk blouses, cashmere jumpers, or jackets, and even difficult-to-iron garments with various embellishments, buttons, buckles, etc. There are no limits.

SteamGlide Elite soleplate

The innovative and best soleplate in the SteamGlide Elite series ensures superior glide and maximum scratch resistance. Its stainless steel base is twice as hard as a standard aluminium base, and its patented six-layer coating with advanced titanium layers guarantees effortless gliding and the fastest results.

1.8L water tank

With a capacity of 1.8L, you can iron and steam clothes continuously for up to 2 hours without refilling. If the water tank is empty or becomes empty during use, an indicator light will alert you – the transparent tank is easy to remove and, thanks to the large filling opening, refilling with tap water is really quick and easy.

Safe resting

The innovative ActiveSense technology guarantees burn-free ironing on all ironable fabrics and also lets you leave the hot soleplate directly on the cotton surface of your ironing board or on clothing without worrying about damage. This also reduces wrist strain, as you don't need to lift the iron from the base and return it as often. The soleplate's rapid-cooling system takes care of everything, even if you leave the iron unattended.

Carry lock

The steam generator features a secure carry lock, which locks the iron to the base and reduces the risk of it slipping or someone touching the hot soleplate.

Easy De-Calc Plus

Regular descaling protects your iron and maintains powerful steaming. The Easy De-Calc Plus function offers the ideal way to get rid of limescale and extend the life of your steam system. An indicator light and a sound signal let you know when it's time to clean it and remove the limescale. Once the iron has cooled down, simply press the Easy De-Calc button. Limescale and dirty water will collect in the container in no time – just remove the cap and let the limescale particles drain out.
