The POLAR H10+ heart rate sensor reliably measures your heart rate during sports activities. It uses three frequency bands simultaneously: Bluetooth smart, the coded 5 kHz band, and ANT+. In Bluetooth mode, you can connect it to two receivers. It stores one heart rate recording, which you can transfer to the mobile app. This is particularly useful for measuring your heart rate while swimming or when you can't use your mobile phone at the same time. The heart rate sensor is compatible with iOS and Android mobile phones, all POLAR sports testers that use Bluetooth smart, and older models that use analogue coded data transmission in the 5 kHz band. It consists of a transmitter and a chest strap.
The transmitter attaches to the length-adjustable chest strap. It is powered by a CR2025 battery, which provides up to 400 hours of operation. It has an internal memory for one recording, with a capacity of up to 65 hours. It records your heart rate in the water with the option of a subsequent transfer and can also transmit to a GoPro Hero 4-5. It is waterproof up to 30 metres. The transmitter is made of ABS, ABS+GF, polycarbonate, and stainless steel. The strap is made from 38% polyamide, 29% polyurethane, 20% elastane, and 13% polyester and silicone. The XS-S size is suitable for chest circumferences of 50–75cm.
The POLAR H10+ heart rate sensor can be paired with mobile phones that have Bluetooth 4.0 or higher and run on iOS or Android 4.3 and newer. Simply download the POLAR BEAT or POLAR FLOW app to your phone, which also functions as cloud storage, or other apps like Endomondo, Runtastic, and RunKeeper.
