The SONOFF Dongle Lite MG21 uses the proven EFR32MG21 chip for long-term stable performance and low power consumption, so you can safely build your entire ecosystem around it. The unit works with Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT or openHAB, allowing you to easily add devices from different brands to your smart home, while the SONOFF Dongle Flasher web tool lets you change firmware in a flash to switch between Zigbee coordinator, Zigbee router or OpenThread firmware. Included in the package is a 0.5m USB extension cable for a more stable signal. The unit is designed with practicality in mind, including a hidden adjustable antenna that allows you to direct the signal and achieve coverage of up to 140 meters in an open area.
Central unit for Zigbee, Thread and MultiPAN
The SONOFF Dongle Lite MG21 allows you to customize the entire smart home with the ability to flexibly change the firmware according to your current needs. You can use it as a Zigbee coordinator to add devices, as a Zigbee router to boost the signal, or as a Thread RCP to control Matter devices via Thread. In addition, thanks to MultiPAN mode, one dongle can simultaneously serve both Zigbee and Thread, eliminating the need for additional gateways.
USB dongle for ports with limited space
SONOFF's compact design allows it to be easily placed in USB ports with limited space, making it convenient to connect to mini PCs, NAS storage or home hubs. The ultrasonically welded body can withstand long-term use, while the slim and sleek design ensures that the unit doesn't interfere with surrounding connectors and can be used without problems in places where every millimetre counts.
