The Ferrino Rift - blue self-supporting double tent for 2 people is a very durable and lightweight version of a hiking tent. Thanks to the self-supporting construction, the tent is more weatherproof than conventional structures. If necessary, the tent stands on its own without pegging or unpegging additional cords,which can be appreciated when building in bad weather or on hard rocky surfaces. Durable duralumin construction ensures excellent strength even at low bar weights. Tropico and base are made of durable and lightweight polyester. The floor is connected to the bedroom, which is made of breathable mesh for the best possible breathability. The double shell construction together with ventilation holes ensure excellent air circulation and reduce dew or breathing inside the tent. The Rift 2 offers generous living space for two people to comfortably camp, including backpacks that can be stored in one of the two vestibules.

Comfortable sleeping on the move
The construction of the Ferrino Rift 2 is very simple and quick. The bedroom is suspended on a duralumin structure and then you just need to cover it with a tropic. From the tropic there are two apses over two entrances. One can be used as an entrance and the other as a storage space or each person can have their own entrance and hallway. Inside the tent there is a loop for a lamp or internal pockets for small items. The tent is packed in a practical package for transport or storage and there is also a repair kit for the most necessary repairs in the field. The Rift 2 is a smart choice for a very durable tent that can handle spring or autumn weather fluctuations.

Water column
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water leakage. Indicates the amount of water that the material is able to hold before it begins to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Each tent should have a tropical canopy with a water column of at least 2,000 mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop flying at 80-90 km/h. If you want to weather the storm unscathed, a water column of at least 3,000 mm is a better bet. A water column of 5,000 mm is recommended for normal hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a subfloor with a water column of 8,000-10,000 mm.Specifications
