The GIRO Fixture II MIPS W women's bike helmet is designed for mountain biking and off-road riding. It combines design with safety features, such as MIPS technology to protect the head from rotational forces. The In-mould construction fuses a polycarbonate shell with an EPS foam liner, ensuring low weight and durability. Comfort is provided by 16 ventilation holes and a removable, quick-drying Coolmax padding. The Roc Loc Sport fit system allows for easy one-handed size adjustment.

MIPS Technology
The helmet is equipped with MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) technology, which provides brain protection. This system consists of a low-friction layer between the EPS shell and the inner padding. In the event of an angled impact, the MIPS layer allows the helmet shell to rotate a few millimetres independently of the head. The MIPS system thus reduces the amount of rotational force that might otherwise be transferred to the brain and cause serious injury.
Construction and Fit
The foundation of the helmet is its In-mould construction, which permanently fuses the outer polycarbonate shell with the inner shock-absorbing EPS foam. The shape of the helmet has an extended profile at the rear, which increases protection for the back of the head. The Roc Loc Sport fit system can be easily adjusted with one hand using the dial, even while riding. The system is also compatible with ponytails.
A Comfortable Ride in All Conditions
For comfort even on long rides, the helmet is equipped with 16 ventilation holes that ensure airflow and cool the head. The inner quick-drying, antibacterial Coolmax pads wick away sweat and can be easily removed and washed. The helmet also features a removable Snap-Fit 2 visor, which protects the eyes from the sun or rain, and reflective elements to increase your visibility in low-light conditions.
