The Vango Nevis 200 Protects You from Moisture and Bad Weather
The All-In-One Pitching system makes pitching and packing the tent easy. The inner tent is attached to the flysheet. You can also pitch the flysheet separately to use as a simple shelter. The PowerLite poles, made from 7071-T6 aluminium alloy, ensure a balance between weight and strength. The durable and easy-to-clean groundsheet has 10cm raised edges that protect the tent from moisture and bad weather. The O-shaped doors allow for convenient one-handed opening and closing, while the partially meshed inner doors provide ideal airflow and protect against insects. The Rain Stop doors are designed so that water does not drip inside the tent when opened, and two doors guarantee convenient access from both sides of the sleeping area.

The Vango Nevis 200 tent is quick and easy to pitch, taking approximately 5 minutes. It features high-visibility reflective guylines that make it easier to find your way and increase safety in low light. The high-tension guylines ensure reliable tensioning even in challenging conditions and can be easily adjusted with one hand. Durable and lightweight aluminium pegs allow for secure fastening of the tent. Taped seams on the flysheet and groundsheet ensure waterproofness.

The flysheet has ventilation openings with mesh covers at both ends, which improve air circulation and eliminate condensation. The spacious porch offers a covered area where you can store equipment and luggage. The Vango Nevis 200 tent is tested against wind and rain. It meets the European standard EN5912, and its fire-retardant materials meet the European safety standard EN5912. The package also includes a carry bag with a drawstring and compression straps.

Hydrostatic Head
Indicates the resistance of the fabric and seams to water penetration. It indicates the amount of water the material can hold before it starts to leak. The higher the value in mm, the higher the resistance of the tent. Every tent should have a flysheet with a hydrostatic head of at least 2,000mm, which is approximately the pressure exerted by a raindrop travelling at 80–90 km/h. To survive a storm unscathed, a hydrostatic head of at least 3,000mm is safer. For the groundsheet, a hydrostatic head of 5,000mm is recommended for general hiking. For more demanding conditions, choose a groundsheet with a hydrostatic head of 8,000–10,000mm.Specifications
