SwitchBot Contact Sensor is a wireless switch for doors and windows. It works independently or in cooperation with the central unit. The sensor has an integrated motion sensor that detects entry or exit. Detection range up to 5 m, 90° horizontally and 55° vertically. This way you will always have your windows or doors secure. Thanks to the built-in light sensor, it can also automatically turn on the light when it detects movement in a darkened environment. In addition, it allows you to trigger automations via an app, sends alerts to your phone and is compatible with voice assistants as well as Android and iOS operating systems.

The SwitchBot app is a simple tool for controlling your smart home. It allows you to control the SwitchBot with a single tap on your smartphone, set timers and schedule appliances to turn on and off automatically according to your needs. In combination with SwitchBot Hub Mini, it also supports remote control and voice assistants.
Installation Instructions:
The magnetic portion of the SwitchBot contact sensor must be aligned with the bottom of its main body and the distance between the two components should be less than 1.2 inches (30 mm).
