QNED evo Mini LED for striking contrast and rich colours
QNED evo technology with Mini LED backlighting uses smaller light sources to help deliver precise brightness and dark tones, highlighting subtle details. Dynamic QNED colour Pro expands the colour palette and achieves a certified 100% colour volume, making films, sports and other content look vibrant and rich in colour.
alpha 8 AI 4K Gen2 processor optimises every frame
The alpha 8 AI 4K Gen2 processor analyses the on-screen content and uses artificial intelligence to optimise the image. AI Picture Pro, together with alpha 8 AI Super Upscaling 4K and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro, adjusts the sharpness, textures, depth, brightness and contrast of individual scenes. It also upscales lower-resolution content to bring its detail as close as possible to 4K quality. In addition, automatic brightness control adjusts the display to the current lighting conditions.
AI HDR Remastering gives SDR content a new dimension
AI HDR Remastering analyses standard SDR content and automatically adjusts its colour, brightness and contrast to give the image more striking dynamics. The TV supports HDR10 and HLG formats, while FILMMAKER MODE lets you watch films with picture settings that respect the director's original creative intent.
Smooth gaming at up to 144Hz VRR
The native 120Hz panel supports a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz, keeping fast-paced gaming scenes smooth and clear. AMD FreeSync helps synchronise the refresh rate with compatible gaming devices, while ALLM automatically activates low-latency mode. The set is complete with HGiG, Game Optimizer and Game Dashboard, where you can easily adjust gaming settings directly while playing. It also supports 4K at 120 fps via HDMI, as well as QMS and QFT features.
Game portal gives you access to games even without a console
Through webOS, you can access supported cloud gaming services and run selected games without a traditional console. The game portal provides access to compatible games and services, including NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The gaming features are complemented by Motion Booster 288 and support for Bluetooth Ultra Low Latency controllers, which help reduce wireless control response times during cloud gaming. The availability of individual gaming services, titles and compatible controllers may vary by region, and some services require a subscription or a gamepad.
AI Sound Pro creates a more immersive audio experience
The TV features a 20W 2.0-channel sound system. alpha 8 AI Sound Pro technology analyses the playback content and creates virtual surround sound in up to a 9.1.2 configuration. Clear Voice Pro helps highlight the spoken word, Adaptive Acoustic Tuning adapts the audio to the room conditions, and the WOW Orchestra feature lets you use both the TV speakers and a compatible LG soundbar simultaneously.
webOS 26 with smart AI features
The webOS 26 operating system offers access to streaming apps, LG Channels, a web browser and other smart services. The AI Hub brings together AI Search, AI Concierge, AI Voice ID, AI Chatbot, AI Picture Wizard and AI Sound Wizard. AI Search also uses Google Gemini to help you search for relevant information directly through your TV. LG Shield technology secures the smart environment. The webOS Re:New program lets you receive operating system upgrades for up to 5 years, although the scope and schedule of updates may vary by model and region.
Easy control with AI Magic Remote
The included AI Magic Remote lets you control the cursor using a motion sensor – just like a computer mouse – and scroll through menus quickly using the scroll wheel. The AI button provides access to smart features, and you can also control supported options using your voice. The TV features intelligent voice recognition and AI Voice ID to work with personalised user profiles.
AI features for sports fans too
The Sports Forecast feature works with team stats and performance via AI Concierge to offer information and predictions related to sports matches. Sports Alert lets you track schedule information, results, and other updates for your favourite teams directly on the TV screen.
Smart home and wireless sharing
Home Hub and LG ThinQ let you manage compatible smart home devices directly from your TV. LG 50QNED8MB6C also supports Apple Home, Apple AirPlay, and Google Cast, so you can easily cast photos, videos, and other content from your compatible phone, tablet, or computer to the big screen.
Linear Flow Design and LG Gallery+
Linear Flow Design uses clean lines and a metal-effect back, ensuring the TV looks elegant whether placed on a stand or mounted on the wall. Without the stand, it measures 1112×649×70.8mm and supports a VESA 300×200mm mount. The LG Gallery+ service lets you display selected art and visual content when you are not using the TV; the availability of this paid service may vary by country.
Wide connectivity options
The TV features 3 HDMI inputs with support for 4K at 120Hz, eARC, VRR, ALLM, QMS, and QFT. Other connections include USB 2.0, optical digital audio output, Ethernet, a CI slot, and a pair of RF inputs. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3 provide wireless connectivity.
