A phase-change GPU thermal pad fills the gaps between the GPU and the cooling module, providing high thermal conductivity and ensuring optimal performance under heavy load.
Power and reliability
ASUS GPU Guard technology secures all four corners to reduce the risk of cracking, while the GPU bracket helps ensure even mounting pressure and greater stability. The printed circuit board features a protective conformal coating to help shield it from short circuits caused by moisture, dust, or debris. ASUS Auto-Extreme Technology, an automated manufacturing process, completes all soldering in a single pass. A high-quality die-cast frame, shroud, and backplate firmly reinforce the printed circuit board.
Settings and modes
GPU Tweak III lets you easily fine-tune overclocking settings for high performance. The chassis fans can be synchronised directly with the card and adjusted using a curve based on CPU and GPU temperatures. The card features Dual Bios technology, where in Performance mode, the fans spin faster to keep the card cool at all times. In Quiet mode, the same performance target and top-end settings are maintained, but it offers a less aggressive fan curve for quieter operation at medium temperatures.
