ASUS ROG STRIX LC III 360

ASUS ROG STRIX LC III 360
The ROG Strix LC III 360 AiO cooler is a comprehensive system designed to efficiently dissipate heat from high-performance Intel and AMD processors. It is based on a 7th generation V2 Asetek pump, which, together with the radiator and three ROG STRIX AF-12S fans, provides high cooling performance. The cooling circuit features an enhanced copper cold plate for more efficient heat transfer to the liquid. This system handles the demanding thermal loads of modern CPUs while offering visual customisation options thanks to Aura Sync support.
Key features of the ROG Strix LC III 360 AiO cooler
- At the heart of the cooling system is a 7th generation V2 Asetek pump
- The water block rotates 360° and uses a magnetic attachment
- The lighting supports Aura Sync technology, including a smart mode
- Three ROG STRIX AF-12S fans create high static pressure
- At low loads, the fans stop thanks to 0dB technology
- The copper block base efficiently dissipates heat from the processor
Powerful AiO pump
The foundation of the cooling performance is the Asetek Gen7 V2 pump, which operates in a speed range of 800 to 2800RPM, offering a balance between performance and noise. This generation of pump introduces a revised cold plate design that better handles higher thermal loads. The improved contact with the processor and more efficient heat dissipation into the coolant lead to lower operating temperatures compared to the previous version.
Fans
The ROG Strix LC III 360 cooler is equipped with three ROG STRIX AF-12S fans, which are characterised by high static pressure reaching 3.92mmH2O with an airflow of up to 70.38CFM. This combination of parameters enables the fans to effectively push air through the dense radiator fins, keep processor temperatures low, and also contribute to quiet operation thanks to anti-vibration pads.
Quiet operation at low loads
The fans support PWM speed control in the range of 800 to 2200RPM, which gives you full control over the cooling. Their control includes 0dB technology, which ensures silent operation at low processor temperatures. If the CPU temperature drops below a set threshold, for example when working with documents, the fans will stop completely and the system will run passively, without any noise.
Aura Sync lighting synchronisation
The water block lighting is fully compatible with the Aura Sync system, which enables synchronisation of lighting effects between individual components. A smart mode is also available, which visualises the hardware load or its temperature, thereby providing visual feedback. You can use Aura Creator software to create your own lighting schemes.
Socket support
The water cooling mounting system is compatible with current and older platforms. It supports Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1700, 1851 and AMD AM5 and AM4 sockets. This support for modern sockets makes the cooler an ideal choice for modern builds, while backwards compatibility extends its use for upgrading existing computers.
