Materials and surface finish
TPI bolts are based on high-grade steel, specifically chromium-vanadium or chromium-molybdenum (ASTM 4140 / SCM 440). Each piece undergoes a heat treatment process, which ensures uniform hardness and strength throughout the entire cross-section of the bolt. The glossy black chrome surface finish is created by zinc plating or a triple nickel-plating and chrome-plating process. Every production batch is subjected to a salt spray test and a tensile strength test, confirming its resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress.
