TPI Wheel Bolts (10pcs), Conical Seat, 17mm Hex, M14×1.5, 45mm, Colour Black
TPI Wheel Bolts (10pcs), Conical Seat, 17mm Hex, M14×1.5, 45mm, Colour Black
TPI wheel bolts are used to fasten wheels to a vehicle. They are made from chrome-vanadium or chrome-molybdenum steel (ASTM 4140 / SCM 440) and have a conical seat for correct fitting in the wheel rim. Each piece undergoes a heat hardening process, which gives it consistent hardness and strength. Durability and mechanical properties are confirmed by tensile and salt spray tests, thanks to which the bolts exceed common OEM standards.
Key Features of TPI Wheel Bolts
- Designed for fitting wheels with a conical seat
- Made from chrome-vanadium or chrome-molybdenum steel (ASTM 4140 / SCM 440)
- Surface finished with zinc, triple nickel and chrome, or black chrome
- Consistent hardness and strength thanks to the heat hardening process
- Tested in salt spray and subjected to a tensile test
- Thread M14×1.5
- Thread length 45mm
- Spanner size 17mm
Manufacture and Durability of TPI Bolts
The bolts are based on chrome-vanadium or chrome-molybdenum steel (ASTM 4140 / SCM 440), which is used for its strength and toughness. After shaping, each piece undergoes heat hardening. This controlled heating and cooling process unifies the internal structure of the material, resulting in consistent hardness throughout the entire volume. Finally, a surface finish is applied, either by zinc plating, a triple layer of nickel and chrome, or black chrome plating. The surface finish protects the steel base from external influences, as demonstrated by salt spray testing.
