The AXAGON EEM2-SBC aluminium external RAW enclosure with a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface is designed for SATA M.2 SSDs. Connection to a computer is provided by a reversible USB-C connector on the enclosure, along with the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable. The SATA 6G interface ensures the speed of M.2 SATA SSDs. Thanks to the fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, the transfer speed is up to 10Gb/s. The external M.2 enclosure also supports other modern features such as UASP, TRIM and allows reading of S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) information, which monitors the drive's status. It also supports a power-saving mode during inactivity. The external enclosure can be used with SATA M.2 SSDs. A key advantage is its support for three different SSD card lengths—42, 60, and 80mm. M.2 cards can be single-sided or double-sided. The enclosure has no capacity limit for the inserted SSD. The screwless design of the enclosure makes installing and removing the M.2 SSD easy. Swapping drives is quick and simple, which expands the enclosure's potential uses, for example, for data migration, testing, etc. The outer metal shell has a black colour with a brushed finish that prevents unwanted fingerprints. The aluminium body of the enclosure and the ventilation holes ensure very good cooling of the inserted M.2 SSD. By inserting an M.2 SSD into the enclosure, you can easily create a fast, compact external drive. The enclosure can be used with computers and laptops, as well as with mobile phones and tablets.

Supported Operating Systems
The AXAGON EEM2-SBC external enclosure supports MS Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11 and later, Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 and later (all 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows OS are supported), Mac OS X 10.x and higher, Linux with kernel 2.6.x and higher, Android (OS and device support required). Drivers are included with the supported operating systems and will be installed completely automatically. No other drivers need to be installed.
