Miniature dual-band wireless USB adapter with the latest 802.11ac technology for super fast wireless transmission. The adapter works in the 2.4 or 5GHz bands. It also enjoys a great transmission speed - offering up to 150 and 433Mbps respectively. With this speed, you can easily transfer large volumes of data, stream online video, or play comfortably and without the fear of losing time while playing online games. Connecting to a wireless network is so simple, just plug the adapter into a free port on your computer or laptop. The adapter supports WPA and WPA2 encryption standards.
It refers to generations of WiFi technology that have been developed over time to improve the speed, range and reliability of wireless networks. Each generation has its own specific features and benefits, and is defined by its standard, IEEE 802.11. Connection speeds also vary, with newer WiFi standards capable of delivering speeds of up to 9.6 Gbps.
The 2.4 GHz band is a frequency band for wireless networks that is known for its greater availability and compatibility with many wireless devices. Due to its wide usability, the 2.4 GHz band can be more exposed to interference from other home devices, which can lead to lower connection speeds and stability. Nevertheless, it is suitable for common internet activities such as web browsing, email and music streaming. The unit you'll encounter is Mbps, meaning "megabits per second", and to convert to MB/s (megabytes per second) you need to divide the value in Mbps by eight.

The 5 GHz band is a frequency band used for wireless networks that offers higher data rates and less interference compared to the more traditional 2.4 GHz band. This band can be found in most modern wireless routers and devices supporting 802.11n, 802.11ac and newer standards such as 802.11ax (WiFi 6). The unit you will encounter is Mbps and stands for "megabits per second" and is a measure of data transfer speed. To convert from Mbps to MB/s (megabytes per second), you need to divide the value in Mbps by eight.
